Pressing
13 eccentric presses, 250–1,000 kN
LEN series presses (25C, 40C, 63C and 100C) are designed for cold forming, in particular blanking, punching, trimming, embossing, bending, straightening, extrusion, shallow drawing and similar operations. The presses are driven by a switchable two-speed electric motor, so the user can choose the number of ram strokes according to technological needs. The presses feature a pneumatically operated multi-disc friction clutch mechanically linked to a multi-disc friction brake.
The main advantages of these presses include adjustable ram stroke, ram adjustability and balancing, and precise extended self-lubricating ram guides. Further advantages are the rolling bearing of the eccentric shaft of the connecting rod, a clutch-brake friction lining that meets hygiene regulations, increased operator safety and quiet operation. The eccentric presses can be operated manually or in automated production lines.

Electrical discharge machining
EDM — precision to thousandths of a millimeter
In engineering, this machining technology is often simply called WEDM (Wire Electric Discharge Machining). A wire cutter is a machine that is now fully controlled by a 64-bit control system; it processes an imported NC program and machines continuously in four axes at once (X and Y, plus U and V, which tilt the upper head relative to the lower one for taper cutting).
The working tool of this machine is a specially made wire that unwinds and cuts its way through the material along the programmed path. The whole workpiece is immersed in a water bath, and water is also fed to the wire under high pressure to cool it in the spark gap (the spark reaches 1,400–1,600 °C, so the wire would otherwise burn through and break instantly). The machine works with an accuracy of thousandths of a millimetre and a surface finish down to 0.02 Ra (depending on the generator version).
